During today's session we have been introduced into Arduino and Processing software which works together in order to create various projects. As an introduction we have done the "Blink" project available from the Arduino software itself.
Later on we have edited the code in order to personalize it to our needs and in order to explore and understand how does the software work rather than relying on finished piece of code. This was crucial as it allowed us to gain basic experience to operate Arduino.
Furthermore, we have been taught that there is an app called Fritzing which allows you to visualize the project you are about to do by dragging in the objects from the library i.e. board or jumper wires and the software would validate whether or not the project would work.
Furthermore, in the afternoon we have started to experiment with processing and exploring some of the examples that are available within their library which allowed to further understand the coding/programming side of the program/Arduino as well as allowed to get a better knowledge of how to edit and look at the code. In order to customize the code I have changed the background values in order to match the RGB spectrum where there are 3 sections each one of them going from 1 to 255.
